This certified organic and biodynamic 2018 Châteauneuf du Pape Catarina Red Wine is drawn from the lieux-dits of Colombis, Bois de la Ville and Grand Devès. Fermented in tank and matured in older demi-muids, it shows vibrant raspberry and cherry fruit on the nose, underscored by hints of garrigue and crushed stone. Medium to full-bodied wine, it’s ripe and silky in mouth feel but not overly rich or round, making less of a cocktail wine than some, and easier to pair with food.
Grenache from 90 to 100% depending on the vintage. The rest of the blend can be made of Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault.
Serving temperature : 15 - 17°C.
Decanting : 1 hour.
