Grape varieties : 85 % Malbec : 15 % Merlot
In the glass, this wine displays a dark purple/ruby opaque colour. The nose is pronounced with ripe blackberry, plum and red fruits flint and graphite. The palate is full round and balanced with lots of juicy cherry prune and mineral notes, a hint of clove with a long pleasant finish.
Will pair well with: Beef Lamb or Poultry.

The Domaine de Fages is located on the famous limestone plateau of Cahors. Between 250 and 300 meters altitude, the plots are planted on 2 different kinds of soil: sandy and ferrous red clay (siderolithic) and clay-limestone.
