Medium straw gold colour with aromas of walnuts, hazelnuts and yeasty flor with baked apple and orange hints. The palate is full with zesty citrus lemon musky orange, a finely oxidative white wine with a long lingering finish.
Cuvée Georges is a blend of Chardonnay and Savagnin fermented and aged separately, blended 3 months before bottling.
This wine can be kept for 5 years.
Since 2010 the estate has focused on Organic Agriculture with biodynamic practices. The work of the vine is mainly on a control of the soils by the means of the cultural works (inter-stocks, hilling, beginning, work of the row of mediums,...) as well as by the control of the grassing by the mowing and tillage. The objective of these practices is to revitalize the microbial life of the soil and to allow the roots a rich and regular supply, and to allow a better expression of the terroir on the grape varieties.
