The vineyard is situated on the foothills of the Brossay plateau, an ancient land of flint and iron from the Jurassic period. Cabernet Franc vines grow well here and are the source of this stunning value red Saumur. Lively and tender, this cuvée des Biches best expresses the sharp and fruity character of Saumur and how it is a natural home for the Cabernet Franc grape.
