Carignan, Grenache Noir and Mourvèdre grapes. An unoaked wine from a Domaine located between Narbonne and Perpignan, on the edge of Languedoc and Roussillon, in Catalonia close to the Spanish border. Value, rustic wines. R.A.S "Rouge a Siroter" meaning the red scoundrel...a wine to drink with friends. If you are familiar with these grapes, then you would know they result in a juicy, spicy young red with loads of fruit.
If you like Beaujolais this is for you. Light bodied-tangy- it would pair well with tomato based dishes.
If you can't travel to the Mediterranean basin, let the tastes come to you!
