The Dirler-Cadés source their Pinot Blanc for us exclusively from a block of vines dating to 1965 in the Bollenberg lieu-dit, a marl and sandstone site overlooking the town of Orschwihr. This site stands apart from the Vosges mountains, benefiting from sun, wind and elevation.

The heart of the work in Biodynamics is the use of preparations, which in the form of energy impulses, aim to improve the quality of the soil, to promote the deep rooting of the vine and to help the harmonious development of leaves, flowers and fruits.

To strengthen the natural defences of the vine we use different herbal teas and decoctions: nettle, horsetail, wicker, meadowsweet.
