This wine pours a lovely pale yellow colour with hints of shimmering gold.

The nose has a delightful combination of the grape's natural scent and the influence of oak barrels. It's like a bouquet of fragrant jasmine flowers with a touch of smokiness and toasty notes.

The palate is pronounced and lively thanks to a rich blend of flavours and structure. The finish is all about maintaining that freshness, without any heaviness, and it's delicately balanced. Aging in oak barrels adds depth and texture, leaving a generous, toasty note at the end.

Just like its namesake, this plot of Pinot Gris is located on the “Klep” cadastral location on the Avolsheim hill. From this plot of approximately 1 hectare bordered by two sides of forest emerges a real ecosystem. It allows it to benefit from omnipresent sunshine from morning to evening and its limestone soil is essential to the balance and aromatic subtlety of the wine.
