Glass Wine Decanter with Aerator Funnel, 75cl

Most red wines, and a good many whites, taste better for a little air. This set makes that easy. Pour the bottle through the glass aerator funnel and the wine fans out across the inside of the decanter in thin streams, picking up oxygen as it goes, so it opens up in minutes rather than the hour or more a decanter alone would need. It's also rather lovely to watch.

The decanter itself has a classic, slanted-base shape that holds a standard 75cl bottle with room for the wine to breathe, and it pours cleanly at the table. A young, tight red such as a Rioja, Douro or Côtes du Rhône is the obvious candidate, but it works just as well for a fuller white or for serving our alcohol-free wines with a little ceremony.

Useful, good-looking and easy to give, it makes a thoughtful present for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and housewarmings.
