Domaine Terres d'Hachène Cerris 2022

Generous wine on the nose and palate, CERRIS is an aromatic cuvée both pure and elegant, made from Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre. This blend offers velvety tannins and a pleasant depth. Blueberry and spicey oak  on the nose, wrapping black fruits and pepper in a delicately tannic feel on the palate, full, and savoury substance that stretches long on the finish.

After a manual harvest and a traditional vinification, the wine is matured during eighteen months in old barrels in order to make the best of this creative yet generous blend between these three  mediterranean grape varieties.

Domaine Terres d'Hachène, the domaine takes its name from the initials of the Latin expression Hic et Nunc — "Here and Now." Nestled in the heart of the Cévennes foothills (Piémont cévenol),situated 50 kilometres from both Montpellier and Nîmes, between Anduze and Uzès. Organic farming, parcel-by-parcel vinification, and ageing in barrels allow the estate to get the best from its six grape varieties, Grenache noir, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot, creating free and creative blends that showcase an exceptional terroir.

Aging - Drinking well now but worth holding to 2028–2029 to let it integrate. Decante for best palate.
