Château De Fontenille, AOC Entre Deux Mers Bordeaux White 2025

Entre-Deux-Mers, "between two seas", is the wedge of land between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, and it is Bordeaux's home of crisp, dry white. Château de Fontenille's comes from 12 hectares of 25-year-old vines on clay, silica and gravel.

It is 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Sauvignon Gris and 10% Muscadelle. The grapes spend a few hours on their skins before a cool fermentation and ageing on fine lees, which gives a golden colour, citrus aromas and a lively, intense freshness. It's a versatile white for fish, salads or simply a summer evening.
