Domaine Duseigneur Matteo Châteauneuf du Pape is a Biodynamic Red Wine 2019 75cl. It is made from Grenache Noir 80%, 20% Syrah and aged in French oak barriques for 9 months. The palate displays the pure expression of a unique terroir with silky and smooth tannins.
Still young, so depending on palate preferences, it can be drunk now, or aged for 10 years in the cellar as the robe turns ruby and aromas of red fruits, and underbrush will continue to develop. Alcohol: 15%. It pairs well with vegan stews or vegan roast dishes. Ageing potential: 5 to 10 years. It can be purchased in Wooden Gift Box in Wine Gifts.
Winemaker: Domaine Duseigneu. Terroir: Rich and complex terroir. Parcels divided into three types of soils (sand, gravels, and clay-limestone). Matteo Giovanetti was the official painter of Pope Clement VI, the Pictor Pape. He decorated the Palais des Papes in Avignon between 1344 and 1347.
