Named after the cévenol word for "zenith," Zénite Blanc captures the precise moment the Languedoc sun reaches its peak — intense, luminous, and full of life. This is the first white wine from Domaine Terres d'Hachène, completing their celebrated Le Temps Cévenol range alongside Levant and Zénite.
On the palate, expect a taut, brioche-tinged texture with vibrant notes of pear, green apple, candied citrus, and apricot kernel, lifted by a mineral finish and beautiful aromatic freshness — a counterpoint to the blazing Cévennes midday heat that inspired it.
The domaine sits in the Piémont cévenol, 50km from both Montpellier and Nîmes, between Anduze and Uzès. Its name, Terres d'Hachène, derives from the Latin Hic et Nunc — "Here and Now." The estate practises organic farming with parcel-by-parcel vinification and barrel ageing across six grape varieties, producing free-spirited, terroir-driven blends that reflect an exceptional corner of the Languedoc.
Grape varieties: Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Roussanne Farming: Organic Drinking window: Drink now or cellar to 2028 Pairing suggestions: Provençal vegetables, light pasta dishes
