Fonseca Terra Reserva Organic Port's sturdy and characterful in a rich ruby reserve style, with flavours of blueberry, cherry and plum. Ruby Reserve style means a firmer, fresher style with red forest fruit emphasis due to aging for an average of 5–6 years in large used wooden vats (tonéis and balseiros) before bottling. This preserves fresh fruit while adding complexity – typical of a top-tier Reserve Port
Grapes: Blend from Old vines from the Cima Corgo area of the Douro Valley. Fonseca Terra Prima Reserve Organic Port is produced from organic indigenous red grape varieties from old vines; Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, and Tinto Cão

The wine displays ripe aromas of damson and plum with black pepper spice, delivering a full-bodied palate with classic Port fruit flavors, mint freshness, and structured tannins. Delicious by itself or with nuts. It's particularly well-suited to pairing with blue vegan cheese, organic and vegan chocolate desserts, or spiced fruit cakes.
Launched in 2006, Fonseca Port wine is the first fully certified organic port as even the fortifying spirit is produced from organically grown grapes.Certified as made from entirely organically grown grapes, by Ecocert Portugal (Socert certification body).
Once opened this port will last 3-4 weeks in a cool place.
