Langlois Val De Loire Mon Chardonnay 2023

Sourced from the Catherine and Michel Langlois Loire winery, we have a rich chardonnay here. The colour is deeper than normal,  it tastes like chardonnay should taste, but so much more expressive due to being a Loire Chardonnay. Another organic opereation from Kimmeridian marl soils and Loire river deposits, this wine is an interesting creation as it shares the same soils as Chablis and Sancerre.

The vineyards is located in the heart of the Giennois, Pouilly-Fumé and Sancerre regions, the crafted wines that express the richness and uniqueness of these exceptional Loire terroirs.

Grown on 20 year old vines, this  chardonnay is aged for 12 months in 100% French oak. giving toasty notes to the signature buttery chardonnay with melon and peach.  Loire wines are aged in stainless steel, so this process combines to produce a unique mineral fruit forward wine.

Drink 2026-2030. Depending on your own palate preference, if drinking now, one should decant to make the wine more approachable and to do it justice on the palate.
