Domaine les 4 Vents, Saint-Jaimes, Crozes-Hermitage is a fantastic Crozes-Hermitage 2018. It is a garnet to purple in colour with ripe fruits, blueberries and blackberries, with a hint of leather and liquorice. The palate is full and concentrated with blackcurrant and black plum, complimented with well integrated tannins leading to spice notes with a long and lingering finish. It is made from 100% Shiraz and has 13.0% alc. Vol.

This Crozes Hermitage Saint-Jaimes comes from the best vineyard of 4 Vents, from over 40-year-old vines planted by the grandfather of the current owners. Lucie and Nancy rely on whole bunch fermentation, the complete grape including the stems and seeds are mashed and fermented without the addition of yeasts, the entire maceration takes about a month. After fermentation, the wine is aged for one year in used 600L barrels. It is bottled without fining and filtration.
